Yearn to be.

Simply discouraged
by other writers,
for they seem to have
more experience then i have.

i yearn to be the best
author known,
but on my inferior writing level
i feel alone.

i can't symbolize a feeling
or paint a picture,
instead my words just drone on
and on as if they were a scripture.

i'm working hard
to meet the expectations
of those who have heard of me,
around the nation.

and if someday i could finally
impress everyone,
even then my life and career as a writer
would not be done.
