Every love has its own failing

Such beauty could not exist in the dirty world
Then angels love died from deadly addictions of dirty needles
Her eyes no longer shone but became a cold Grey
Mid-day highs were taking their toll

Her life was lost, her wings broken by our addictions
Beauty turned to broken skin
Cracked lips dry with blood could not speak
This beauties soul burnt by injected acid

And what of her love, the lost unwanted boy?
Was this loss his gain? His life to be saved
Who would know?
Fighting for life, for undeserved salvation
