Who would notice me

The answer's apparently no-one
I fade into the background

I act a normal person
But I'm tearing up inside
I appear completely average
So i just disappear

People may just know my name
As they know who I'm with
But no-one cares for me
As I'm forgotten once more

So i ask again
who would notice me
the one who no-one remembers
