For a sister

I know we fight,
We don't always get along,
But you're my big sister,
Without you it'd be wrong,

I know this sounds crazy,
But I look up to you,
In everything you say,
In everything you do,

You can always make me laugh,
Even when I'm down,
I can't help but smile,
Whenever you're around,

You're intelligent, you're strong,
You're very pretty too,
I can't believe I'm saying this,
But I truly love you,

I know you'll always be there,
You always have before,
I can always trust you,
To catch me when I fall,

I can always talk to you,
Of my troubles and my fears,
I know I can trust your wisdom,
From your extra 3 years,

By now you're probably bored,
Of all these words that rhyme,
But trust me just this once,
They're not a waste of time,

The whole message of this poem,
In words of just a few,
Is something some find hard to say,
I love you.
