There's a ringing in my ear.
Your talking, I'm listening.
But it's nothing I want to hear.

But it's nothing you will mention.
Unless you say what I'm waiting for,
You won't catch my attention.
Ring ring, beep beep.
Someone's calling my phone.
If it's you calling
I'll pretend that no one is home.
I know what your deal is,
You wanna call me and tell me about her.
About how in love you are,
And that you want to be with her forever.
Yeah, okay, we'll see about that.
After a while you'll realize she isn't the one.
But you'll be blind,
And we'll be back to where we started from.
