Through The Pain

If love is forever
Then why are hearts broken?
If life is forever
Then why do people die?
If our souls are not living
Why do they live on?
And if people weren't human
What would all this be?

Sorrow is not living
Souls do not survive
Pain is what comes from survival
Love is what you make of it
Humans are just for-seeable imaginations
And what else could you make of life?

Can you hear me screaming?
Can you hear those little voices?
Calling out for help in this darkened living hell
Why don't you help them?
Why do you let them suffer?
Coz maybe you think
Like myself and my own mind
Through the pain I will survive
