Save Me

I have tried my best,
To do what I was born to do.
To live my life to the fullest,
Even if I don't survive this.
The demon's in my mind,
Are breaking me inside.
The pains in my heart,
Are tearing me apart.
Screams fill my ears,
As I drown in my fears,
Knowing it's not real,
Even though it breaks me.
I drag the knife across my wrist,
As I sigh in relief,
I finally found my release.
I continue this for weeks,
And no one notices me.
Days later, my worst enemy
Caught me as blood ran freely.
We met each others eyes,
A moment frozen in time,
He runs to me,
I flinch openly,
He ask who did this to me,
I said the memories.
He said don't let is break you,
He said let me help you.
I never got a chance to tell him,
He saved me that day.
Till I found out days later,
He died in his dreams...
