Story of a Lonely Girl

by Beautiful Forever   Mar 30, 2008

This is a girl who never knew how to smile,
Always lonely, dressed with a depressing style,
Quiet, she has always been on the reserved side,
Determined, as she has deep dark secret to hide,

During the day you could see her reading,
This is the only time her smile is preceding,
Because as soon as the moon signals the night,
She puts on an evil dress - such a tragic sight,

The phone rings - as another customer calls,
A pathetic male, with hands on his balls,
Already excited, ready for the night ahead,
Picturing how she looks with her legs spread,

Inside she's dying, hiding that beautiful smile,
Ashamed of this dress that shows a sexier style,
He penetrates her - she slowly starts bleeding,
She tries to leave - but shes far from succeeding,

He finishes just as shes about to break,
Theres only so much this poor girl can take,
All she really wants is for someone to care,
But every time she looks, no one is there,

If only she would open her eyes she would see,
Theres a life waiting for her - to be free,
The only way for her to get out of this mess,
Is to throw away, that hellishly red dress...

Wow, very explicit. Make sure to edit the very next to last line of poem. It has type o but no big deal. Um, where to start? Oh yes, aabb ccdd eeff gghh iijj kkll rhyme pattern was subtle and did not leave me frustrated like many often do. The poem does what it is suppose to as an explicit poem. Definitely able to imagine the whole scene.
As far as constructive notes:is to improve the flow of the poem. I always read my poems out loud and work on their effortless flow. Sometimes it helps to listen to a song that closely resembles the rhythm you want for the poem. The poem is good though
