Thoughts

by Orchid Man   Mar 30, 2008

What is it about the landscape that brings your beauty to my mind?
I think about the softness of your hair as the Savannah wind plays in the tall grasses
The very sky sends magic into my thinking as that rainbow of colour blends hues into your eyes
Birds sing their haunting melodies as the sun warms up the shadows of the night just gone
And memories of our time shared in loves embraces with only visions of a wonderful union
Like seasons blending their individual beauties of spring through to a chilling winter period
Experiences gained fill me with a satisfaction of an unforgetful encounter with you and your awe
Distant mountains capped by silvery white clouds herald a new innocence yet to be discovered
Yet right now I ponder on your softness of voice and being; yearning to be beside you and your richness
Like you the trees will change their leaves yet remain humble; providing a continuing beauty of character
I shall remember your smile that surely brightens the darkest of days and lips that touch me like rose petals
I'm glad there's you to laugh with me at simply ordinary things and shall wait for you and our tomorrows.
