Rain

I rest my head as I try to sleep
I think about everything around me
Suddenly I hear the rain
I listen to the pitter-patter and it all the trouble disappears
All I love is closer to me than ever
See all the good times,
All the bad
Some nights I am happy
While other nights I am depressed
Listening to this rain I hear a sound
A sound that soothes my heart, mind, and soul
All my problems stop mattering as of now
For this moment this pitter-patter is all I have on my mind
As my eyes close a smile comes to my face
I forget about all the pain in my life
Just because of the sound of this falling rain

    Very true expression - simple and natural. good work, keep it up and may you have many future peaceful rainy moments. Rain is a peaceful time. The old saying " into every life a little rain must fall" brings peace to some and pain to others.
