Can't wait for Summer

Its so beautiful outside
Wanna go and play?
We could play under
the sun all day

We could look at all the pretty flowers
And see the sycamore tree
We'll be outside for hours
Yeah, outdoors is where we'll be

If sunshine had a smell
It would be so sweet
Feeling its rays beam down
On our rosy cheeks

I can't wait for summer
We can play and dance and sing
Paint pretty pictures and eat at Bar B Q's
Eating potato salad and maybe a chicken wing

I would love to go to the beach
I hear its really nice that time of year
Wouldn't it be nice
To be there together, full of cheer?

Being in school is such a bummer
I just can't wait for summer.
