I Didn't Know, I Had No Clue?

I met you, out of the blew
I didn't know, I had no clue
I'd like you so much, in such short time
Call me a schmuck, but you struck me,
Unlike no other has done.
I made it noticeable, my like for you,
and you still went out with me.
As weeks go by, to the club we went,
to my house we stayed.
My heart was skipping, But no signs I showed.
No need to show signs,
I think I've found something worth taking my time for. As time went on, in such short time, things changed.
I look back to recap, for signs, no signs at all, everything must be fine.
I'm happy for once, how good do I feel.
I didn't know, I had no clue, as I said to my friends.
She doesn't like me, well that's news to me.
How did I find out?
Trough the phone and many questions.
Now looking back, I realise, I knew it from day one.
Like seeing a puddle and stepping right into it.
Knowing the puddle would be my tears if I were standing still.
What I didn't know, is how much it would hurt,
to loss before even getting a chance.
I guess I forgot, it has been so long.
So this is the price I pay, to try again.
