I am nothing but a pup
I pal around with you and I'm your loveable friend
Trying to raise you up
Wanting those tears to end
I treasure our good times like the stars in my sky
The flowers in my garden
But I'm not good enough for you
Not like that wolf, whos big and strong
And whos protected you and made you happy
I try to protect you but I'm weak
I'm weaker in every way
I suffer every time
Whenever he's there, you forget me
Every way possible
You hurt me in ways unimaginable
It's not you to blame, for it's natural
That your choice would be the wolf
And not the weak little pup
So I sit here and whimper with my tail between my legs
As you sleep with the stronger and better
You'll come back and I will be happy
Then I'll be nothing again when that wolf comes around
