City of Sin and Lost hope

by robin milford   Mar 31, 2008

City of Sin and Lost hope
Where all broken dreams
and discarded hearts lie
broken promises
and not quite forevers
the forgotten
and forbidden lovers

City of Sin and Lost hope
Where pleasure and punishment
become one in the same
the crucified reside
with in the town walls
and sorrow roams the halls

City of Sin and Lost hope
Where the depressed and depraved
call home sweet home
the sinful wallow in guilt
and the youth are stripped of innocence

City of Sin and Lost hope
Where discarded wishes
and unanswered prayers collect
among the nightmares
