The Beauty Of Nature's Simplicity

by FountainsOfBlood   Mar 31, 2008

The sun is blazing
No cloud in the sky
A wonderful moment
No people passing by

I make my way
To this one single place
Dead to the earth
It's me, myself and space

Wind roams my hair
It flies on end
Mind is racing for words
The feeling can't be penned

A field of lush green
One girl stands
Although it's just simplicity
There is no more demands

Daffodils of solid yellow
Swing with such delight
Absorbing all the color
The sunshine too is bright

Breathing in the purest air
The freshest feeling
Seconds like this are the times
That give the soul some healing

I have to tear myself away
I walk into the distance
There's a screaming in my heart
The agony of resistance
