Whew, an effin doosy... sure packed a punch, and the fact that it was fictional got me to think seriously about how freaky some of the "real" people in my past where or are still... God knows how they are doing now... since i'm away from that place, i hope i can keep it that way in my mind

but anyways.. thanks for a reminder to blast me to the past
you know it's great writing when you have a flashback from just reading it.. lol

    peace

  • "Engulfed in sin, souls taken away,
they are placed in this city in death,
left to mold in their own sad dismay.
I realized I've taken my last breath."

That was my fave part because suddenly everything sunk in. Very good. 5/5

I loved how this piece told a story and it was quite easy to follow along with. The dark and haunting images compelled me to read more and I was left blown away. The flow was just flawless which made it easier for me to read and enjoy. It was filled with power and strong emotion making for a flawless piece. Thank you for entering the contest. Well done with this titile *5/5*

The ABAB style is very interesting and adds a complicated variation by the syllables beat. I found that reading both A lines together then both B lines together added another dimension or way to read this poem which was very satisfying. 5/5
