Why??

Why is it that every time he says sorry she believes him?

Why is she stupid enough to fall for his lies

The lies that scare her

The lies that hurt her

She fell for his sorry again

And now she has to pay

His drinking is getting worse

As well as her bruises

She begs and pleas as she lies on the floor

But her cries seem to be nothing to him

Because the bruises are still here

Why does she get treated this way

She doesn't deserve to live like this

Every day she thinks about leaving him

But her body won't go

The only question I ask is, why?

    Nothing is easy. and being in a abusive realationship is the hardest thing i went through. the best thing ot do is get out of it while you can. but this poem was deep and amazing, you wrote form the heart and you chose your words wisely, great detail too. i hope your not the one your talking about. but job well done. 5/5.
