Drinking & Driving

by aLwAySlOvInX   Mar 31, 2008

You always said not to drink and drive

I always said I wouldn't

You always said "trust me baby, momma knows best"

So when I was offered some at that party,

I said no

With my head held high,

I didn't have a drop of that poison

So my question is--is why am I laying on the pavement
in a pool of my own blood?

I hear a policeman say she was hit by a drunk driver

Followed by she won't make it

As my breath shortens

I can only wish you were hear next to me

Holding me,

Telling me everything is going to be okay

But your not,

And I'm having my last breath alone

Without you

The last words I breath are I Love You.
