If My Tomorrows All Ran Out...

by WiltingWallFlower   Apr 1, 2008

If my tomorrows all ran out...
Would you know it was your fault?
That it was your words,
That caused that final blow.

If my tomorrows all ran out...
Would you shed a single tear?
Or would you roll your eyes,
And mutter hurtful words.

If my tomorrows all ran out...
Would you come to my grave?
To tell me what I did was weak,
And how I should've risen above it.

If my tomorrows all ran out...
Would you remember that look in my eyes?
The one you said entranced you,
That day you laid me down in your bed.

If my tomorrows all ran out...
Would you even care?
I ask because of those final words you said,
The ones that sent me tumbling over the edge.

My tomorrows have all ran out...
Those words were just too much for me,
You were my reason for caring,
Now you're my reason for muttering good-bye.
