Lies

I see them, those lies,
I watch as they grow in your eyes.
All the times you said you'd be there,
All the time you said you cared.

Lies destroyed the joy of the world,
Lies made the truth hide and curl.
Lies are the reason for suicide,
And I now I see them growing in your eyes.

They come in many shapes and sizes,
Heres what no one realizes.
Honesty would lead to world peace,
But now we are ruled by the lies beast.

We have no control over what we say,
More lies are spread everyday.
So take a good hard look at yourself,
See how many lies you have dealt.
