A Gentle Flower

by Orchid Man   Apr 1, 2008

Today I saw a flower of rarity, a flower not matched by nature, the meadows, or the golden sun
The petals of its beauty blossomed forth like spires with their differing hues of perfect colours
No garden known to man could ever grow a specimen more beautiful or hope to match your gracefulness
A future without this flower would imprison me like a plant seeking water, forsaken in a sun bleached desert
Roots ever wandering in search of life with me ensnared in memories of its scented paradise
Should I travel all highways known to man I would never find a precious orchid with looks more fair
Snow may fall upon this flower's soft features and winds may blow upon its stem -
yet my flower will blossom and bring such joy with envied splendour
This orchid is the one flower that has no equal and is a treasure.
