Love's Death Sentence

by JaceBaby   Apr 2, 2008

You tie the rope around her neck
And wait for it to break
You flash her a smile & say "I love you"
Event though you know its fake
You've got her hanging onto every word you say
but your voice cuts her wrists like knives
You broke her heart now check her pulse
To see that she's not alive
You tell her you're sorry it ended this way
But you both know that you're not
All you wanted was to use her again
Ay least one of you got what you want
You're promises were empty, you're words were blank
Nothing you said was true
All she wanted was for you to return
The love that she felt for you
As the rope tightens around her neck,
It snaps and she hits the floor
she's tired of your stupid lies
And she wont fall for them anymore
She said she's through being a victim to love
And she's through with your games
She's going to forget that you exist
And she's forgetting your name
She's forgetting your voice
And the taste of your kiss
She's waiting for the day
You fall victim to love's death sentence

written for one of my best friends about her worst heart break.
