A Set of Wings

The dark engulfs all the light
i pray as you hold me tight
a beam of light glistens almost to small to see
maybe this is how it should be...

As this presence of evil passes by
my sense of hope wilts& dies
Is this the end?
will evil win?

you whisper something in my ear
but im to distant to hear
As the tunnel closes
Black petals of roses...

they fall like rain
They bring with them pain
Pain& suffering that is enescapeable
This makes love incapable

Incapable to bloom or blossom
Its just like little girls& their gossip
Just hold me tight maybe we can find the light.

The light closes in.
Oh Lord! help me win!
I see my savior descend on a pearl white horse
He leads me through his finishing course

Salvation! Salvation! screams his angels
As i neter his gates a set of wings dangle
They gently sway in the breeze.
A set of wings...just for me.
