Love

By Mrs. Susan Harris

Tonight we wander under the night's sky.
Starlight unblinking
Moon light washes over us.
It was the first time we have been able to be alone.
My eyes full of love and wonder, look at him.
He's looking at me, unable to look away.
Both stuck on the sight of the moon light upon each other's skin.
Both stuck on the sight of each other's eyes, body, lips.
The beauty of his eyes, his wonderful smile, all meant for me.
My eyes glowing, my smile, was all for him.
I knew it then.
I knew
I had found My love.
My life.
My world.
My everything.
I knew as I looked at him the more and more my heart ached for him.
I knew as I looked at him, the warm glowing feeling grew.
It filled me up.
Still unable to break our eyes away.
We found we didn't want to.
I could feel myself being slowly drawn near to him.
Goose bumps.
Mine.
He noticed.
He gave me his sweater.
I took it after fighting with him that I really wasn't cold.
Eyes breaking only till the sweater was over my head.
Bodies became closer, breathe was warm on each other's faces.
That night was our first kiss.
The passion of our love exploded.
Our lips locked unable to break away.
Not wanting it to end.
That night I knew I could not live with out him.
Today I am married to this very man.
This man.
My husband.
Nate Harris.
My soul mate.
My love for him has grown.
He is still my world.
Still my life.
Still my Love.
Still my everything.
Tonight we wandered under the Night's sky.
Still unable to take our eyes off of one another.
This night we kissed.
Unable to break away.
Never letting go.
True Love
could never be any truer than ours.
