I Won't Just For Him

He can fly, thats what the nice lady said
hes flown away to somewhere nice

Can I go fly with him? I inquired
Just an innocent child

Not today love I sensed tension in her voice
She went all high and squeaky

whens he coming back? I didn't understand
She just smiled and shrugged

he doesn't much like flying, I told her
he ll get all sick and ill

It was 5 years ago when life was taken from under my Grandpas feet
But he always taught me to enjoy life so I'm going to try my best
He always said to smile and laugh, not to lets things get me down
So I wont

I wont just for him

    Oh, I'm so sorry. This poem was really good and it was really emotional. I have never lost any close family member and I'm very sorry for your loss.
