a nice poem with a nice spice seasoned through it! (I never forget)

I loved the metaphors you used, such as 'river of sadness' I can clearly picture an endless flow of painful, lonely tears. The tears that catch you unawares, take your breath when you least expect it. Just when you think you are coping - wham! The memories flood back and you weep!

You also describe a pain hidden deep in your heart. - To me that shows an intense pain that hurts so acutely, a pain that is so imbedded, only surgery would have a chance to reach the core, but then and only then if they found it, the surgery would killed you, as the unrequited love did!!

I also really liked this bit too 'I silently scream inside 'I missed you' - Not wanting them to know that you are hurting, not wanting them to know you would take them back because the pain of their absence is so painful!!

I could feel the desperation, the agony this memory is one you just would not forget!!
