Me

by StandStill   Apr 3, 2008

Screaming at the top of her lungs
yet she never makes a sound
her silent pain-filled lamentation
keeps her feet on solid ground

how many cracks can an angel's heart take
shatters into a million pieces before man's eyes
and how long before a melting sunset brings
another night of pain, how long before demise?

another little lost soul trying to find its way
razor blades taken to her stony heart
see those cities crumbling, reader?
that's how her world is falling apart

reality is a tangible thing
when all you feel is pain
how long before i admit i'm this girl
how long til i end this game?
