The Way It Is

The way it is leaves you feeling like you are dying on the floor.
Hearts torn out and thrown about.
Leaving it all unsaid.

Pain caused that oozes out, like a cut untamed.
Breathless and tears.
Is an ocean of madness.

Flight unsaid
Fear and loathing...
No gentleness.

tears that pour like rain.
a flood not yielding.
and sound unending.

To late and lost.
Fear of falling
unsaid undone...

Tore between to realms of time.
Unending darkness, a light gone out.
At a standstill, a path not taken.

Unending feelings.
But what shall tomorrow bring.
Time to heal, time unfeeling.

Hiding and running.
Leaving hearts behind.
left broken on the floor.

Stabbed and bleeding...
weakened and dying...
sadness and anger...

Unanswered questions.
a door shut closed.
Never ending feelings all locked away.

I mind set gone,
a heart thats gone
breathless and alone.

A life given for a chance.
wrong it must have been.
