Steel Arms

by Gabba Gabba Hey   Apr 4, 2008

Sharp steel arms
whose sharp hold
somehow comforts you
cold, cold arms
that bring out the warmth,
pouring red hatred from your heart
these are the arms that helped you
they guided you through all those years
cold comfort on those cold nights
shiny truths carved into your heart
to relieve your mind from thinking
how quickly those arms
were able to change you
how quickly they turned away others
how quickly you consented to the scars...
