Don't Say A Word

by Janine Alford   Apr 4, 2008

You seem to think,
But you really don't know.
I will never,
Return my heart back to you.
You will never,
Know how it feels to hold me.
I can't go back to you.
So please don't say it.

Don't say you,
Love me when you hurt me.
I can't easily forget,
How you easily forgot about me.
So now you want me back,
I'm saying that will never happen.
Words you say,
Are now useless for your mouth to say.
So please,
Don't say a word.

My breath and air,
Won't be polluted by you.
Your forced to memorize,
Everything we did together.
My soft lips,
Will never press against yours.
My skin won't,
Be paralyzed by your touch.
Don't say you love me.
Don't say a word.
