Hear no sound,
Pretend it doesn't,
Hit the ground.

A child crying,
Turn your eye,
What you see,
You can't deny.

People dying,
Drenched in death,
Ghostly whispers,
Haunting breath.

Ears of silence,
Eyes of dark,
A voice that never,
Lends a spark.

Passion left,
Just walked away,
A cold and empty,
Silent sway.

The future needs,
A voice to speak,
Hearts and minds,
