I Would Fly Away

I stare out the window
and look to the sky
I think to myself
How much I care
for this one certain guy

I wish I were a bird
that could fly high in the sky
I'd make the journey to see him
so I could just say hi

I would transform myself back to me
if just for awhile
to look into his eyes
and see his sweet smile

I would love to hold his hand
and touch his smooth face
then kiss him alot
while we gently embrace

Knowing I couldn't stay forever
in the warmth of his arms,
I'd need to fly back home,
knowing him keeps me warm

I dream alot, that is what I do
Wishing I could spend time
with someone like him
a friend so true
