Cousin Jeremy

by A Phoenyx in Flight   Apr 5, 2008

You died when I
was just a toddler.
But I've heard storys.
Of how close we were.

You use to call me
Your favorite nickel.
I use to stick to you like glue.
And follow you around.

You etched on a nickel
My name and "My favorite nickel."
I was your first
and only cousin.

But then you
killed yourself.
And now I
hardly remember you.

I have a picture
of you and me.
It captures the
last time I saw you.

Every now and then
I catch myself wondering.
If we would still be close.
If you were still alive.

(This is about my cousin Jeremy ,whom my brother was named after. I miss my cousin every day even though i hardly remember him.)
