Temple

by StandStill   Apr 5, 2008

These little tremors shaking through her
Are causing earthquakes in her heart
If her little body is God's temple,
then God's temple must be falling apart

Reality is screaming into her head
and she doesn't know what to do
this catatonic end is edging closer
Appocolypse within her is about to ensue

Perhaps sin isn't such a crime in her
when it's the essence of what her soul is made of
it's easy to be a faithless believer
when she no longer believes in any love

She needs this little light to shine
in the green pastures of her mind
But if that light finally will appear
it's only go to show a bomb burning out ot time
