You Want me

by Courtney Lynn   Apr 6, 2008

The room is full.
It's dark.
We all have feelings,
but you and I have hearts.

I move away from them
a little closer to you,
there's a look in you're eyes
as your hand starts to move.
You Want me.

I look into your eyes
for a moment you look hungry.
You place a hand on my shoulder
as if to say 'I'm sorry'

I touch your hand softly
as you glide it across my cheek.
I lay back into you.
And I can only see your face.

Your hand runs across my body
the other protecting my soul.
But in my mind I know this is but a game
but when I'm with you I feel so whole.

My arms float up above me
as I try to find your face.
and now my pride is burning
we made hell out of grace.

You want me and you're breaking me down.
My heart, my pride and sanity,
all in a pile on the ground.

But I feel so safe where I am,
and I never wanted to leave.
Because there used to be a lable on the spot,
and it was made just for me.
