Snowdrops

by Hear You Me   Apr 6, 2008

Snowdrops are falling
To me they are calling
"Just hold out your hand",
They make an ivory mist
As i hold out my fist
But the white feathers fly past

The ground has been wintered
As my heart is splintered
With words i cant express,
Now i lay my palm clear
Hoping they will come near
But theyre repelled by my distress

My face turns to the clouds
And i wonder out loud
"Why wont you let me?",
A puddle lays around my feet
The snow melts from my heat
From frustration i could not see
