As I Wait.

I sit next to my phone hoping to hear your ringtone play,
Why do we have to be on a break?
We both made mistakes, but that's no reason to end what we had.
You cheated and I was heated, I smothered and you were bothered.
No matter the damage, nothing fills the empty void of when I am not with you.
So I sit and wait, hoping for you to come play.

    I say that you are such a sweetheart to still wait on her for cheating on you. And I wouldn't mind being smothered, to me it just shows that you love her and you enjoy being around her. But don't wait, I would move on.
