Grandma's funeral

by Four Letter Lie   Apr 7, 2008

Sadly standing in the pew,
Inside screaming, not knowing what to do.
Tears pouring from my face,
Sadness lingers all over the place.

The worlds now a blur,
Life's so different without her.
Me and my cousins sit and cry,
People leave us, they understand why.

The good memories she left us,
All her knowledge and all her trust.
We talk about her gentle ways,
Remembering her better days.

Silently we leave the church,
Through the saddened faces I search.
I find the one I'm looking for,
She looks different, sadder then before.
