Fairytales are pointless

Fairytales are pointless
when the grass is never green
what's the point of a bad guy
when the hero's always mean?

one upon a times
are all a thing of the past
and that mirror on the wall?
that's just a piece of glass

horses don't have horns
they never did, they never will
and bluebirds don't sing pretty songs
while perching on your windowsill

so somebody please tell me
what exactly the point is
for wishing for prince charming
and his ever-freeing kiss?
