Starlight

by StandStill   Apr 7, 2008

Swirling blackness
velvet
punctured through
holes of light
and a swirling chaos
mystery
shrouded past
unknown future
and suddenly
quiet, Reader,
hold your breath
a star is born
pure,
white,
flickering,
uncertain,
but beautiful
humble amongst those that
already shine bright
but it is there
and every
moment
instant
it grows
brighter
surer
lovelier
for all good things
take time
patience
mistakes
regret
breaking
fixing
love
and a star is born
look,
dear reader,
at the night sky,
you will see her there,
shining lovelier
now that she has had time
shining lovelier
than the rest

*to taylor, sorry it's so formless...*
