Night Crawlers

by Emmy   Apr 7, 2008

Night has risen after an endless day
Now the night crawlers come out to play
Slow and seductive they come in pairs
Licking their lips for a feast to share

Into the night they slip in and out
Of random places that are busy
They pose as couples as sneaky as can be
For the feast of pleasure is what they seek

Its not blood they crave but a soul they seek
One filled with desires unspoken
For they don't give up
And so they come out of the shadows that they call home

Into the night they feast and they feast
On souls so delicious they are addictive
The bodies they take to dispose into the morrow
They fill with sorrow when the night starts to end

So into the night they must fade
For the light of dawn is near
But soon it will be replaced
For night will come soon yet again so black and clear

So they all leave with a smile on their face
