When All I Want Is Adam

by brie kelly wise   Apr 7, 2008

Picking at the dirt crawling through our small toes
The cold nights you left me hanging by a lamp post
We never took pictures, but here we are

Sliding across the ice on a bright winter's night
The snow luminating the black sky
We never hold hands and here they are

Walking across the field on a windy summer day
Letting the wind blow our shoes all away
We never held on, but here we are

Two months and I start to wonder what I'm doing here
Another month and my life turns into another ordinary year
And here I am, waiting for this to change me
I crawl back into the arms of my lost lover
And dream because all I want is Adam

dedicated to Adam (i miss you buddy)
