The torn rose

by she   Apr 8, 2008

A rose, so delicate, not even one thorn.
this rose now bloody and torn.
this rose trampled on too many times,
once so sweet and delicate, now so full of thorns, so anyone come to close, they'll learn their lesson because it's learned theirs.

Wow. this is simply amazing. the metaphor can be taken any way the reader needs, so it is relatable to anybody who's seen a rose...which is like...everyone! lol.

^ definitely loved the way this started. it goes from beautiful, simple, sweet and in one line, BAM! it's all torn away. which is really just amazing.

    great job. 5/5
