As the tears fall like rain,
Only by two,
So many problems, some I never knew.
A star in the sky, and with a sigh,
I wonder if any could grant a wish of mine.
A bird that sings, high in a tree,
Sometimes I would think, "if only it'll sing for me."
A boat in the sea, getting further away from my eyes,
I wish that it would take me.
A couple in the park, never apart,
I wonder if that would ever happen to me.
Then I close my eyes, smile and a laugh,
I finally realize, I should be grateful for what I have.
