My Shredded Heart

My heart gets
torn and torn apart.
With each word you say
just like bullets
straight through my heart.
Choking back tears as you
continue to kill me,
not knowing what you
do to me.
You throw my heart back into
the darkness.
With no hope,
it tries to repair itself.

    This poem is so short and poignant, and i love it - the rhyming and rhythm is a little crude, but that can also be seen as raw :)
