White Noise, Black Light

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Apr 9, 2008

I had a friend
Thought she was better off dead
Cold gun in her hand
Pointed at her head

She loved him, Dear Reader
Her stomach's butterflies
Are now putting bullets in the gun
And tears in her eyes

The point is, Dear Reader
He never loved her back
White noise fills her thoughts
As her bedlight goes black

White noise, Dear Reader
Keeps her awake
Fills up her emotions
Till there's no more smiles to fake

Black light, Dear Reader
Keeps her so blind
Black light whispers white noise
From the corners of her mind

Dear Reader, she's a character
But she died long before death
He told her he doesn't feel the same
And that caused her last breath

Dear Reader, hearts can be broken
Long before they're dead
Cold bullet screaming white noise
Last thought through her head

noise-n-sound, esp. of a loud, harsh, or confused kind

Wow, i can relate. broken hearts hurt but wen it's caused my non-returning of love...it kills. it's like everyday is meaningless cause u know that no matter how hard u try...they just wont love u back. but if u take it 1 day at a time...someday u'll get ur happy ending. 5/5
