Self Confidence

by Paralyzed   Apr 9, 2008

Shooting stars across the sky,
Wishes whispered in her eyes,
Secrets held that make her cry,
Through it all she's growing wise.

Beauty of the raining sun,
Dripping on her as she runs,
Rays of light where time begun,
Life wears no disguise.

Rainbows paint the misty sky,
Hidden from the blinded eye,
Waiting for you as you sigh,
Subtle beauty in reply.

Drink not of this selfish pity,
I'm too fat, I'm just not pretty,
It festers within every city,
Swallow not, the lie.

Another meaningful poem by you, your work is such a treat to read! Nice job on this one, so much emotion and thoughts ran through my mind as I read this. Take care, 5/5 from me. Keep writing, always and forever.....
