if only these things would bring us together
because I was expecting that you would run through the front door to see me
but in the end you didn't come home at all
i was sitting there waiting for you to come
as the tears dripped down my face i thought the worst had come
I don't want to waste another day about it
so I'm writing it down in this wonderful ballot
Its like wishing on a star that never returns
and hoping for sun on a cloudy day
you never came back because you thought you would be smart
but I'm still by this door hoping you to come
I don't waste another weekend away
thinking about the day you fell away
i hope that your okay in the place your sitting
because i sit here waiting in hope for a new day and beginning

but your gone now and i have no where to go now
and I am just sitting wasting another day away
cos if only you had decided the other way
