When Cupid Strikes.

by Macaroni   Apr 9, 2008

Cupid shoots another dart
He squints and aims for the heart
But he jerked and missed this time
The man above doesnt seem too kind

She felt the pierce of the dart
Looked around and gave a start
Her eyes twinkled, she felt a rush
The problems began when she starts to crush

Cupid tries again for her
But his time is up and now its over
He flies away, job unfinished
She'll never find true love because of this

Her life was not meant for this
Its just her, not hers and his
No flowers or letters, no affection to show
All because the man above said so

She cries her poor heart out
Now she pleads and screams out loud
But the man above just looks away
And cupid gets to live another day

Wow this is great there are parts that sound a little awkward but the overall poem is really good. I love the last two lines they are the best lines in the poem.
