Why Does This Have To End?

Goodbye isn't an easy thing to say
Both you and I knew it would come to this day
This is the hardest thing ill ever have to do
To sit here and tell you I want to let go of you

I wish I wouldn't of ruined the chance
For us to have our romance
My mind told me it wasn't true
While my heart is saying I’m falling hopelessly in love with you

Once again another mistake another let down
Now all I do during the day is mope and frown
My dreams of holding you in my tight embrace
And any other future plans have now been erased

You've made me feel things no one has made me feel before
That's why I cant believe I walked out the door
But now I guess time to say goodbye to my lover and best friend
Why do my mistakes have to make this great thing end
